The Saints Collection is a growing collection of embroidered Catholic shirts, each one made for a single saint. Each shirt is stitched across the chest with a simple prayer: "St. [Name], Pray for Us." Every saint comes in two versions, a bold colored shirt and a subtle tonal shirt, and every shirt is $30.
We made them for a simple reason: people want to wear their saint. Their favorite saint, the saint they were named after, and most of all, the saint they chose at Confirmation.
What is a confirmation saint shirt? A confirmation saint shirt is a shirt with the name of the saint you chose at Confirmation, worn as a daily reminder to ask for their prayers. Ours are embroidered on heavyweight 100% cotton with "St. [Name], Pray for Us."
What is a good Catholic confirmation gift? A good Catholic confirmation gift is something that helps the newly confirmed keep their faith close after the day itself. A shirt with their confirmation saint's name is personal, wearable and costs $30.
Why We Made The Saints Collection
Every Catholic has a saint they feel close to. Maybe it's the one you chose at Confirmation, the one you're named after, or the one who carried you through a hard year. We wanted a way to bring that friendship into everyday life, on something people would be proud to wear.
So we set a high bar for the shirt itself: heavyweight 100% cotton, a relaxed drop-shoulder fit, a soft vintage garment wash, and the saint's name embroidered in thread so it holds up wash after wash.
The words are simple on purpose. "St. Joseph, Pray for Us" is a prayer. Every time someone reads it, they're asking a saint to pray for them, and every time you put it on, you are too.
Then we kept going. We started with the saints people ask for most, like St. Michael the Archangel, St. Joseph and St. Therese of Lisieux, and added the Apostles, the martyrs, the Doctors of the Church, the founders, the mystics and the young saints. We're still adding more. If you have a patron saint, there's a good chance they're already here.
Bold or Subtle: Two Ways to Wear Your Saint
Every saint in the collection comes two ways, so you can choose how loud you want your faith to be that day.
Bold
A colored shirt, like Ancora Red, Navy Blue, Army Green, Coffee, Khaki, Gray, Purple or Light Pink, with embroidery that stands out. Made for Confirmation day, feast days, retreats and anywhere you want your saint seen.
Subtle
A tonal Black on Black or White on White shirt, where the thread matches the shirt and the prayer shows up up close. Made for every other day, under a jacket, at work or at the gym.
Each saint has its own color, chosen to suit them. Many people choose both, one for big days and one for every day.
The Confirmation Gift They'll Actually Wear
Confirmation is the day a Catholic is sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. For many, it's the first time they stand up and say yes to the faith for themselves. Most choose a saint's name for the day, and that saint becomes a patron and a friend for life.
That's what makes a confirmation saint shirt such a meaningful gift. It takes a choice made on one day and lets them carry it for years. "This is my confirmation saint" is an easy way to start a conversation about the faith, at school, at practice or at the next family dinner.
Confirmation gift ideas for teens
- Their confirmation saint's shirt in the bold color, to wear to the party after Mass.
- The tonal version for everyday wear, so their saint goes with them to school and practice.
- A shirt plus a handwritten note on why you love that saint, tucked inside the box.
- Matching shirts for the confirmand and their sponsor, each with their own saint.
Confirmation gifts for adults
Adults who enter the Church at the Easter Vigil often choose their saint after months of prayer and study. A shirt with that saint's name is a gift they can wear the very next week, and a quiet way to keep the joy of that night going.
Gifts from sponsors and godparents
A sponsor walks beside the confirmand before, during and after the big day. Many sponsors give a gift at the celebration. A shirt with their new patron's name says, "I'm praying for you, and so is your saint."
Name days, feast days and patron saint gifts
Many Catholic families celebrate the feast day of the saint someone is named after, a tradition known as a name day. Every shirt below lists its saint's feast day, so you can give it on the day itself. Saint shirts also make thoughtful gifts for baptisms, ordinations, birthdays and Christmas.
How to Choose Your Confirmation Saint
To choose a confirmation saint, pray about it, read the lives of a few saints, and pick the one whose story speaks to yours. There's no single right answer. The best confirmation saint is the one you'll actually talk to.
- Start with prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Many people find that a saint seems to choose them.
- Look at your own life. Your name, your birthday's feast, your work, your sport or what you're going through. There's a patron for almost everything: St. Sebastian for athletes, St. Joseph of Cupertino for students facing exams, St. Florian for firefighters and St. Cecilia for musicians.
- Read a few lives. Pick two or three saints and read their stories. Notice which one you keep coming back to.
- Choose a saint who stretches you. Look for virtues you want to grow in, like the courage of St. Joan of Arc, the joy of St. Philip Neri or the charity of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati.
- Talk it over. Share your choice with your sponsor, parents or catechist. If a Blessed or Venerable has your heart, ask your parish how they'd like you to honor them.
- Get to know them for life. Learn their feast day, find a prayer they loved and ask for their help often.
Getting to know your saint doesn't end on Confirmation day. SaintScroll, a new app for getting to know the saints, is coming soon.
Popular confirmation saints
Some of the most loved confirmation saints for young men are St. Michael the Archangel, St. Sebastian, St. George, St. Joseph, St. Thomas More, St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati. For young women, St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Joan of Arc, St. Lucy, St. Cecilia, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Kateri Tekakwitha and St. Catherine of Siena are long-time favorites. Wear Your Saint
The saints were real people who said yes to God, one day at a time. They're still praying for us. We made The Saints Collection so you can carry one of them with you, on Confirmation day and every day after.
Find your saint, choose bold or subtle, and wear the prayer. All you holy men and women, pray for us.
