The Life of St. Cyril of Jerusalem
Cyril became Bishop of Jerusalem around 350. He loved teaching the faith to those preparing for baptism, and his lectures are among the most precious writings of the early Church.
He preached near the very places where Jesus died and rose, explaining the Creed and the sacraments. Leo XIII named him a Doctor of the Church in 1882.
